The Competition Authority imposed a total of 31.4 million lira in fines through settlement agreements on three companies operating in the cosmetic sector. According to the announcement on the Competition Authority’s website, the investigation into Biota Plant Drugs and Cosmetic Laboratories Inc., Derma Cos Pharmaceutical Medical and Cosmetic Industry and Trade Inc., and Derma-Cos Cosmetic Industry Trade Import and Export Limited Company concluded with the allegation of violating the Law on Protection of Competition by determining the selling prices of distributors within the economic integrity formed by these companies. As a result of a settlement request, a total of 31 million 395 thousand 634 lira in administrative fines was decided to be imposed on this economic integrity.
