Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, announced that Turkish Airlines (THY) will provide families with a 15% discounted travel opportunity until the end of the year as part of the Family Year.

Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş stated in a written announcement that the Vision Document and Action Plan for Strengthening Family Protection have been developed and put into practice.

Emphasizing their efforts in improving the welfare of families and enhancing the effectiveness of Family-Focused Social Policies and Services, Göktaş stated, “As part of our 2025 Family Year goals, we are implementing discount programs that will provide economic benefits to our families.” Announcing the new initiative, Göktaş said, “As a result of our discussions with Turkish Airlines, families will receive a 15% discount throughout the 2025 Family Year. The campaign, announced on Turkish Airlines’ website as ‘Family Discount,’ will apply a 15% discount to at least 3 and up to 9 passengers with the same surname on the same booking.”
