David Roth, a meteorologist, stated, “There is a high risk for more tornadoes today in Alabama and Mississippi. The probability is 30%, which is quite significant.” Weather forecasters indicated that with storms gaining strength again, the highest tornado and severe thunderstorm risk is expected tonight. According to the National Weather Service, the storm will move eastward throughout the day and reach the Florida Panhandle and Atlanta by midnight.
