Bolat highlighted that the boycott calls did not succeed, pointing out that the Turkish economy benefited during this period. He stated, “Compared to April 1, there was twice as much shopping on April 2.” “HEAVY PARTICIPATION IN SHOPPING” Bolat, sharing on social media, underscored the government’s efforts to support trade, the national economy, and small businesses, which were warmly welcomed by the public. He continued, “Despite April 2 being the day after the three-day Ramadan holiday, with the majority of people having spent significantly for the holiday eve and holiday, they showed strong participation in shopping at stores, markets, shopping malls, restaurants, cafes to disappoint the boycott calls and boycotters.” “OUR PEOPLE HAVE BOYCOTTED THE BOYCOTTERS” Referring to the statistics of the Interbank Card Center (BKM), Bolat announced that card transactions went up from 14 billion lira on April 1 to 28 billion lira on April 2. The remaining 45% of card transactions are shared with the BKM by banks within 5 days.” These results show that our people have boycotted the boycotters.
