Minister Uraloğlu of Transport and Infrastructure announced that they have warned Google about algorithm changes and are working on legal regulations. Uraloğlu mentioned that access restrictions to Roblox and Discord could also be lifted. In a program on CNN Turk, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu answered questions about the agenda. Uraloğlu stated that they have had discussions with Google and said, “There have been changes in Google’s visibility ranking and ad revenue share, as a result, the Competition Authority fined them.” He emphasized that they have alerted Google for transparency and added, “There are certain initiatives, and we will also make legal regulations.” Addressing the issue of access restrictions on Roblox and Discord, Uraloğlu stated, “Both platforms are in contact with us, and there are efforts to remove certain content. When they do so, we will consider lifting the restrictions.” Uraloğlu mentioned that 5G can be experienced in IGA and stadiums. He also revealed that he met with representatives of 3 operators on Thursday, mentioning that the 5G auction will take place this year and will be implemented next year.
