I blame our leaders for allowing it to happen. If they had great deals with the US, benefited from the US, benefited in production, in almost every field imaginable, who can blame them?” Trump emphasized that all they want is reciprocity. President Trump had signed an order on February 1st imposing a 25% additional customs duty on imports from Canada and Mexico, and a 10% additional customs duty on imports from China. On February 3rd, Trump announced that tariffs imposed on Canada and Mexico would be suspended for 30 days in exchange for increasing border security.
