During a statement yesterday, President Donald Trump announced that they have been in discussions with four different potential buyers for TikTok’s operations in the U.S. According to a report on Bloomberg, speaking to reporters on Air Force One, Trump stated, “We are talking with four different groups and many people want this.” Trump did not disclose the names of the candidates who are interested in buying TikTok. Last week, Trump stated that he is open to extending the final deadline for a deal beyond April 5th if necessary. It is expected that the new owner of TikTok will be clarified by April.
