Trump Confirms: First Overseas Visit Will Be to Saudi Arabia

President Donald Trump confirmed his plans to make his first overseas visit during his second term to Saudi Arabia. Trump stated, “It could be next month, maybe a bit later. We will probably also visit the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.”
After signing an executive order preventing black market ticket sales, President Donald Trump made statements on various topics at the White House. Addressing requests for him to run for office again, Trump said, “They say there is a way to do it, but I haven’t looked into it.” When asked if former President Barack Obama would run, he replied, “I would love that.” Trump commented on upcoming customs duties, saying, “We demand what is demanded of us, but we are more polite.”
Speaking on Elon Musk’s role in the Department of Government Efficiency, Trump said, “Musk is a great guy but he has a big company to run. He will return to work at some point.” He expressed uncertainty about the continuation of DOGE. Regarding his relationship with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, Trump stated, “I know him very well. We have a great relationship,” emphasizing the importance of dialogue in light of North Korea’s nuclear capabilities.

Trump also confirmed reports of his first overseas visit during his second term being to Saudi Arabia. He mentioned that the Middle East trip will include several countries, saying, “It could be next month, maybe a bit later. We will also visit Qatar and probably a few other countries.”
Emphasizing the importance of the UAE, Trump stated, “So, we will probably visit the UAE and Qatar as well.” When asked why prioritizing Saudi Arabia, Trump replied, “I have a very good relationship with the Middle East,” highlighting that Saudi Arabian leaders are ready to make significant investments in the United States.
Trump stated, “They have agreed to spend approximately 1 trillion dollars on American companies. This means opportunities for me.” Recent reports from government sources in the U.S. claimed that Trump’s first overseas visit during his second term would be to Saudi Arabia in mid-May.
