Following the prisoner exchange in Gaza, US President Trump stated that Israel needs to decide what to do regarding the deadline given for the release of all hostages today. President Donald Trump of the United States mentioned that one of the prisoners released by Hamas in Gaza today was an American citizen. Trump stated on the Truth Social social networking site that this is different from his statements last week when he said they would not release any hostages. Trump said, “Today three hostages were released in Israel. My deadline for all of them to be released expires today at 12:00. Israel needs to decide what to do about this.” He also added that the US will support Israel’s decision.
