President Donald Trump purchased a Tesla vehicle to show his support for Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, stating, “This man has dedicated his energy and life to this and I believe he has been treated unfairly.” Groups protesting Musk and Trump government policies forcibly entered Tesla dealerships to stage sit-ins. Trump emphasized that such violent actions would be considered acts of terrorism.

President Trump appeared on camera alongside Musk, posing with Tesla vehicles brought to the White House garden. Trump noted that he usually does not drive, but he would acquire a vehicle to highlight his support for Musk: “I am going to buy it because, one, it’s a great product, as good as you can get. And two, this man has devoted his energy and life to this, and I think he has been treated unfairly,” he stated.

“ATTACKS ON TESLA DEALERSHIPS INTERNAL TERRORISM” President Trump labeled the acts of violence against Tesla dealerships as “internal terrorism,” warning that there would be severe consequences for the perpetrators. From a fleet parked at the White House, Trump selected a red Tesla Model S, sitting inside and posing for the cameras.

Trump exclaimed, “I am going to get one now. The bad news is, I can’t drive it because I haven’t driven in a long time. I love driving. But I will use it at the White House and allow my staff to use it. I am not allowed to drive it.”

TESLA STOCKS PLUMMETED

The company’s shares have declined by over 50% from the peak of $490 in December. Tesla, which suffered a drop of over 15% yesterday, fell to $222. The market value of the company plummeted from a peak of $1.5 trillion to $850 billion. The electric car giant experienced a loss of momentum due to Musk’s actions and his support for far-right political parties in Europe. Tesla’s sales in Germany had decreased by 76.3% annually. Musk had spent over $200 million on Trump’s election campaign.
