Trump Targets Putin: “I’m Disappointed”

US President Donald Trump made statements regarding current issues, especially regarding Russia-Ukraine. He mentioned that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wants to withdraw from the valuable metal agreement. Russian media reported that negotiations on valuable metals have begun with the US.

Donald Trump discussed the Russia-Ukraine issue. Before returning to Washington, Donald Trump responded to questions from journalists on his presidential plane, targeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

INITIALLY TARGETING ZELENSKY Trump said, “I see that Zelensky is trying to back out of the valuable metals agreement, and if he does, he will have big problems. We had an agreement, but he wants to renegotiate it. He says he wants to be a NATO member. He would never be a NATO member, and he knows that. If he wants to renegotiate the agreement, it means he has big problems.”

“PUTIN DISAPPOINTED ME” Trump also expressed his disappointment with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s proposal for a temporary government in Ukraine, saying, “I am disappointed in Putin for his statements about a temporary government in Ukraine. Whether he likes it or not, he needed to reach an agreement. Therefore, I am not pleased.” He added that if Russia does not approach a nuclear deal, hinders efforts to secure a ceasefire in Iran, sanctions will be applied to Russia.
