President Donald Trump announced that a potential deal for the transfer of TikTok’s assets in the US is still “on the table.” This statement comes after reports that the deal was suspended a few days ago. “WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS WITH CHINA”
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said, “We have very good people and very rich companies involved in a deal. These companies do this job very well. However, we will have to wait and see what happens with China. The deal is still on the table, and then some.” “I THINK WE WILL MAKE A VERY GOOD DEAL WITH CHINA”
Trump also delivered optimistic messages about the relationship with China, stating, “I think we will make a very good deal with China.” TikTok’s operations in the US have been at the center of national security debates for a long time.
