It’s a fantastic time to get rich, richer than ever.” Trump has argued that his announced tariffs would increase investment and production in the country, and in a recent statement, he mentioned that companies wanting to avoid tariffs by manufacturing in the U.S. would bring “trillions of dollars worth of investment” into the country. Trump pointed out the numerous manufacturing facilities already being built in the U.S. and anticipated a surge in construction jobs, claiming that tariffs would “enrich the U.S. greatly.”
