WANTS TO SEE OBAMA AS A RIVAL Trump expressed his preference for Democrats nominating Barack Obama as his opponent in the hypothetical scenario of running for a third term, saying, “I would really like that. It would be good. I would want that. And now people are asking me to run.” Trump mentioned that he had not done “any research” on running for a third term, stating, “They say there’s a way you can do it.”

TIKTOK STATEMENT Trump was reminded that the deadline for the sale or shutdown of the social media platform TikTok to an American company was approaching. Trump indicated that he could “extend it if he wants to.” Trump stated, “Actually, I’m a very flexible person,” implying that he might utilize this flexibility for TikTok.

NORTH KOREA-US RELATIONS When asked about the relationship between North Korea and the US, Trump responded, “I have a very good relationship with Kim Jong-un. You hate to hear that, but that’s very important. I get along with him really well.” Referring to North Korea as a “major nuclear nation” and Kim as a “very smart guy,” Trump expressed that they will “probably do something at some point” with North Korea.
