Trump’s Grand Plan: Citizens of Certain Countries Won’t Be Allowed into the US!

Reports suggest that the Trump administration in the US is working on a new regulation that will impose travel restrictions on certain countries. It is said that some countries deemed as a threat to national security will be classified as “red,” “orange,” and “yellow.” Citizens of countries marked red will face travel bans.

According to the prominent US newspaper New York Times, the Trump administration is preparing to expand travel restrictions to the US. Two officials familiar with the matter stated that the new ban will be broader than the one issued during Trump’s first presidential term.

THREAT LEVELS TO BE CLASSIFIED BY COLORS The draft of the new travel ban states that some countries seen as a threat to US national security will be classified as “red,” “orange,” and “yellow.” While citizens of red countries will face travel bans to the US, restrictions will apply to citizens of orange countries, and citizens of yellow countries will be given 60 days to “rectify deficiencies.”

COUNTRIES CODED IN RED No specific details were given about orange and yellow countries, but it is claimed that the countries included in the red category, similar to Trump’s previous travel ban, will be Iran, Yemen, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela, with the expectation of adding Afghanistan and Pakistan.

AIM TO PROTECT THE US FROM “TERRORISM” Trump’s initiation of travel bans on citizens of certain countries during his first presidential term, under the pretext of protecting the US from terrorist attacks, sparked lengthy debates. During his campaign for the November 2024 presidential elections, Trump mentioned that if he won, he would reinstate the controversial travel ban applied to some countries with a majority Muslim population in his first term in a broader and stronger manner.
