Trump’s Statement on Iran: Something Big is Coming Soon

President Donald Trump stated, “We are in the final stages with Iran. We cannot allow them to have nuclear weapons. We are going through an interesting period in world history but with Iran, something big will happen very soon, very, very soon.”

President Donald Trump made remarks at the White House regarding the Ukraine-Russia war.

Trump mentioned that making a deal with Moscow was easier and that Putin wanted to stop the war with Ukraine. He expressed, “Frankly, I find dealing with Ukraine more difficult, and the cards are not in their favor. Ukraine needs to step up and do their job.”

Initially, branding Canadian officials as “very hard to make a deal with,” Trump criticized Canada for imposing tariffs on lumber and dairy products that have been hurting the US. He threatened to apply “the exact same tariff” on dairy products as long as tariffs were not lowered. He stated, “We can do this as soon as today or wait until Monday or Tuesday. But what we will do is receive the same fee. This is not fair, it has never been fair, and they have treated our farmers badly.”

“US IS BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF”

Trump claimed that the US has been taken advantage of by everyone, but this situation has come to an end. He mentioned that India charges “great tariffs” on the US and wants to reduce them significantly. Trump referred to the European Union (EU) as a “horrible abuser” and reiterated the claim that the bloc was formed to “take advantage” of the US. He stated, “They do not give us an advantage while I am in office.”

“FIND DEALING WITH UKRAINE MORE DIFFICULT”

Trump criticized Kiev’s approach to ending the Russia-Ukraine war and reiterated that making a deal with Moscow was “easier.” He emphasized, “Frankly, I find dealing with Ukraine more difficult, and the cards are not in their favor. Ukraine needs to step up and do their job.” Trump highlighted the sanctions announcement against Russia earlier in the day, indicating his efforts to help Kiev.

Stating that Putin wants to “stop and resolve” the war with Ukraine, Trump said, “I think he does what anyone would do in that position – he hits them harder than they hit him – and anyone in that position would do the same. He wants to end this. I think Ukraine also wants to end it. I think they want to end it too.”

In his speech, President Trump said, “There will be interesting days ahead of us, that’s all I can tell you.”

“SOMETHING BIG IS COMING VERY, VERY SOON WITH IRAN”

Trump addressed relations with Iran, saying, “We are in the final stages with Iran. This will be an interesting time, and we will see what will happen. We are in the final moments. We cannot allow them to have nuclear weapons. We are going through an interesting period in world history but with Iran, something big will happen very soon, very, very soon.” He did not provide detailed explanations of what his statements meant.

Expressing his hope for a peace agreement with Iran, Trump said, “I am not talking about strength or weakness. I am just saying that I prefer to see a peace agreement instead of seeing the other. But the other will solve the problem.” Trump did not specify the meaning of the “other” in his statement.
