Turkish Rotary-Wing UAVs Showcase in USA

Turkey’s rotary-wing UAVs, ALPIN and DUMRUL, are being showcased in the USA. These unmanned helicopters will be exhibited at VERTICON 2025 in Dallas, one of the world’s largest fairs. The event aims to bring together innovations and professionals in vertical aviation, including advanced air mobility, unmanned aerial systems, and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicles. The event is expected to host over 15,000 industry professionals and 600 participant companies.

VERTICON will focus particularly on cargo and logistics solutions, displaying technologies catering to the sector’s needs. The manufacturer company will participate in the fair with models of DUMRUL and ALPIN. DUMRUL, a silent helicopter powered by an electric motor, has a take-off weight of 17-18 kilograms and can stay airborne for up to 30 minutes. Designed for short-range reconnaissance, DUMRUL can effectively neutralize targets with its integrated weapon systems and imaging capabilities. The aircraft, developed based on user requirements, is designed for effective weapon use in short-range operations. DUMRUL is getting ready for its first mission.

The unmanned helicopter ALPIN can stay in the air for up to 9 hours due to its extended fuel tank. With a payload capacity exceeding 200 kilograms, ALPIN enables the safe transportation of various equipment and materials in military and civilian operations. The helicopter, with fully autonomous take-off and landing capabilities, can perform programmed tasks thanks to its ability to fly on pre-determined routes. ALPIN has entered the inventory of security forces as Turkey’s first indigenous unmanned helicopter.
