TUSAŞ and Brazilian aviation giant join forces for joint production move

TUSAŞ has collaborated with Brazilian aviation giant Embraer for joint production activities in civil and military platforms. Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAŞ) and Brazilian-based aviation and space company Embraer have joined forces for joint R&D and production activities in civil and military platforms. Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır announced on his social media account that they have enhanced the cooperation in the field of aviation, which they advanced with their visit to Brazil last September, through the signed agreement. Kacır stated that a memorandum of understanding was signed between TUSAŞ and Embraer at the LAAD 2025 Defense Fair held in the mentioned country, paving the way for joint R&D and production activities in civil and military platforms. He added, “We are determined to strengthen the global effectiveness of the Turkish aviation industry through international collaborations.” TUSAŞ also mentioned in their statement regarding the agreement that the collaboration between the two companies will be reinforced with joint production activities, while new opportunities will be explored in R&D and engineering fields to further enhance the global effectiveness of Turkish aviation. An announcement by Embraer stated that the company is seeking new suppliers due to increasing demand for its products, noting that TUSAŞ specializes in metal and composite aircraft body parts.
