The site reported that after the issue was temporarily resolved, access problems increased around 09:40, with approximately 40,000 users reporting that their X accounts were not working. The disruption was mostly noted in densely populated cities on the east coast of the USA like New York and Boston, as well as on the west coast in cities such as Los Angeles.
