Yesterday, it was reported that 175 Russian soldiers were released in exchange for 175 Ukrainian soldiers under an agreement reached between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The two leaders held a two and a half hour meeting yesterday. Following the meeting, the Kremlin announced that Ukraine and Russia would exchange 175 war prisoners each. The exchange of these prisoners took place today. Putin also agreed to temporarily halt attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure for 30 days.
