Ukraine attacked despite cease-fire: Statement from Moscow

Despite the cease-fire agreement reached with the United States, Moscow announced that Ukraine carried out drone attacks on electrical infrastructure last night and today. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Ukraine continued its attacks on energy infrastructure despite the agreement with the USA. In a written statement from the Ministry, it was mentioned that Ukraine conducted drone attacks on electrical infrastructure in Bryansk last night and today. The statement pointed out that power outages occurred due to the attacks, and it was also reported that a drone attack was carried out on a natural gas depot in Crimea. The statement highlighted that Ukrainian officials made statements indicating a cease-fire agreement for energy facilities, but emphasized that such attacks continue. Following the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 18, it was announced that Russia and Ukraine had agreed to stop attacks on energy infrastructure facilities for 30 days. The Kremlin had stated that as part of the agreement with the US, attacks on facilities such as oil refineries and energy pipelines in Russia and Ukraine would cease.
