Ukraine: North Korea supplies 50% of Russia’s ammunition needs

Kyrylo Budanov, the Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR), made a new statement regarding North Korea’s military assistance to Russia. Budanov revealed that North Korea supplies 50% of the ammunition needed on the front lines in Russia’s war against Ukraine. He also mentioned that North Korea has started providing Russia with 170mm self-propelled howitzers and 240mm multiple rocket launcher systems, in addition to supplying ballistic missiles, planning to send 148 missiles within the year. Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Oleh Ivashchenko, stated that Russia plans to produce over 7 million artillery shells and mortar rounds this year, emphasizing that Russia is aware of its significantly higher production compared to all European countries. Ivashchenko also noted that Russia is expected to manufacture around 3,000 long-range missiles this year.
