Accordingly, the number of unemployed people aged 15 and over decreased by 39 thousand in December compared to the previous month, dropping to 3 million 26 thousand. The unemployment rate also decreased by 0.1 percentage points, reaching 8.5%. The unemployment rate was estimated at 6.9% for men and 11.4% for women.
