UNRWA: Supplies Running Out in Gaza

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has announced that supplies in Gaza are running out. In a statement posted on UNRWA’s X account, it was highlighted that Israel has been blocking the entry of humanitarian aid and commercial goods into the Gaza Strip for over a month. The statement said: “UNRWA teams continue to deliver aid with the remaining supplies, but stocks are depleting rapidly and the situation is worsening. The blockade must be lifted and humanitarian aid allowed to enter again.” Following the end of the first 42-day phase of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement with Hamas, Israel decided to halt the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip from March 2. The Israeli military broke the ceasefire that had been in place since January 19 in the Gaza Strip on the morning of March 18, resuming intense attacks.
