With the arrival of March, the retirement bank promotion campaigns have begun to be updated. Banks continue to offer additional opportunities to those who transfer their retirement pensions to them. The transfer of retirement pensions can be done through different methods depending on the banks. Retirement pensions can be transferred through bank branches, via e-Government, mobile banking, and internet banking. In February, public and private banks announced new retirement promotion campaigns. In March, however, some banks made updates to the promotion payments. With the update of the promotion campaigns, the cash promotion payments that retirees will receive have also changed. So, which banks offer the highest retirement promotions? Here are the updated promotion campaigns…

Yapı Kredi announced that between March 1, 2025, and March 31, 2025, they will make cash promotion payments of up to 20,000 TL to retirees who promise to receive their SGK retirement pension from their banks. According to the announcement, “After signing the Promotion Commitment Form, without any additional conditions; if the net income for one month is up to 9,999 TL, 6,250 TL will be paid; if it is between 10,000 TL – 14,999 TL, 10,000 TL will be paid; if it is between 15,000 TL – 19,999 TL, 12,500 TL will be paid; and if it is over 20,000 TL, 15,000 TL cash promotion will be paid. Within 60 days after signing the Additional Reward Commitment Form, if two new bill payment instructions are given, an additional cash reward of 2,500 TL will be paid independent of the salary bracket. Within 60 days after signing the Additional Reward Commitment Form, if a total of 1,000 TL is spent with the original individual credit cards, an additional reward of 2,000 TL will be paid independent of the salary bracket. The payment will be made within the same month following the month in which the first salary payment was received, if the additional reward commitment form is not canceled.”

According to the announcement made by ING, by transferring your SGK (SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Emekli Sandığı) retirement pension to ING, you can earn cash promotions ranging from 15,000 TL to 25,000 TL depending on your salary amount. The new retirees and those who are eligible to retire with EYT can benefit from the promotions.

On the official website of Türk Ekonomi Bankası (TEB), it was stated that “Our customers who commit to receiving their retirement pension from TEB for 36 months by transferring it will earn up to 21,000 TL in promotions (12,000 TL in main promotions in addition to 9,000 TL in additional promotions). By giving 2 or more automatic bill payment instructions (with the condition of Electricity or Natural Gas bill being mandatory), you can earn additional promotions and earn up to 21,000 TL in promotions.”
