German automotive giant Volkswagen has released concept images of its electric vehicle ID.1, which it will release in 2027. Designed by Volkswagen as an entry-level electric car, the ID.1 will be priced at 20,000 euros. The car’s concept unveiling will take place on March 5, 2025. STARTED WITH RENAULT Volkswagen had planned to develop the ID.1 with Renault, but the parties decided to abandon this partnership last year. The French automotive manufacturer is preparing to release its own electric vehicle, the Twingo, in 2026.
