Warning from food safety authorities: Do not consume, as bugs are detected inside

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issued a warning indicating that bugs may be present in Rude Health brand’s Chocolate Crispy Granola, advising against its consumption. Officials stated that products with the expiration date of 24/10/2025 from the brand are not safe and should not be eaten if purchased. However, Rude Health claimed that the bugs do not pose any health risks to humans. The brand emphasized that they do not use any artificial ingredients in their products and strive to make healthy snacks as tasty as possible. Previously, products from brands like Nestlé, Tesco, and TK Maxx have also been recalled.
Consuming expired foods in particular increases the risk of food poisoning. These kinds of foods can lead to health issues such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and high fever. Food poisoning is a common illness in the UK, with approximately 2.5 million cases reported each year.
