Adana 6th Criminal Judgeship had imposed access restrictions on the game platform Roblox, citing its potential to harbor content that could lead to child exploitation. The Adana Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office Cybercrimes Bureau requested to block access to the links on www.roblox.com/tr website and application markets due to the detection of content that could lead to child exploitation. The Adana 6th Criminal Judgeship examined the petition submitted and the research reports related to the specified internet addresses. According to article 8/A1 of the Law on Regulating Publications Made on the Internet and Combating Crimes Committed Through These Publications, which allows a judge to impose access restrictions based on reasons such as the protection of the right to life, maintenance of public order, prevention of crime, or protection of public health, the court decided to block access to the links of www.roblox.com/tr website and application markets.
