The White House announced that customs duties applied to some products imported from China have reached a total of 245%, including previously existing tariffs.
In a briefing released yesterday by the White House, the statement that imports from China are subject to customs duties of up to 245% as a result of retaliatory tariffs caused some confusion. A White House official, speaking to an AA correspondent, clarified the tariff rates applied to products imported from China.
SUCCESSIVE TARIFFS
