An expected announcement regarding the payment date of pension differences has been made. The Social Security Institution (SGK) announced that the differences will be deposited into the accounts as part of raising the minimum pension to 14,469 Turkish Liras and shared the date when the pension differences will be paid. So, have the pension differences been paid? When will the SSK and Bağkur pension differences be deposited? Developments regarding the payment date of pension differences were closely monitored. The rate of increase for retirees in the January-July period of 2025 was determined as 15.75% according to the last 6 months’ inflation data. Within this increase, the minimum pension for SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees was raised from 12,500 Turkish Liras to 14,469 Turkish Liras. After the decision was announced in the Official Gazette, the payment date of pension differences was once again brought up. SGK provided a date for the payment of pension differences. Pension differences will be deposited into accounts today.
According to the statement made by SGK, “We are paying the difference amounts to our retirees and beneficiaries. You can collect your payments from the bank or post office where you receive your income/pension. You can collect it on February 11, 2025.” In accordance with the regulation, a difference payment of 1,969 Turkish Liras will be made to retirees with the lowest pensions. Those whose allocation number ends with 9 will receive the payments on the 17th of the month, those with 7 will receive it on the 18th, those with 5 will receive it on the 19th, those with 3 will receive it on the 20th, those with 1 will receive it on the 21st, those with 8 will receive it on the 22nd, those with 6 will receive it on the 23rd, those with 4 will receive it on the 24th, those with 2 will receive it on the 25th, and those with 0 will receive it on the 26th. Those whose allocation numbers end with 9, 7, and 5 will receive it on the 25th, those with 3, and 1 will receive it on the 26th, those with 8, 6, and 4 will receive it on the 27th, and those with 2 and 0 will receive it on the 28th of every month. The payment day for the pensions received quarterly by the Pension Fund is as follows: The first group receiving their monthly payments in February, May, August, and November; those born between 00-40 will receive their payments on the 1st of the month, those born between 41-46 will receive on the 2nd, those born between 47-49 will receive on the 3rd, those born between 50-53 will receive on the 4th, and those born between 54-99 will receive on the 5th. The second group receiving their payments monthly in March, June, September, and December; those born between 00-22 will receive their payments on the 1st of the month, those born between 23-28 will receive on the 2nd, those born between 29-48 will receive on the 3rd, those born between 49-54 will receive on the 4th, and those born between 54-99 will receive on the 5th. The third group receiving their payments in January, April, July, and October; those born between 00-33 will receive on the 1st of the month, those born between 34-37 will receive on the 2nd, those born between 38-40 will receive on the 3rd, those born between 41-43 will receive on the 4th, and those born between 44-99 will receive on the 5th.
