Microsoft has taken an innovative step to enhance Windows 11 users’ daily text editing experiences. The ChatGPT-supported “Rewrite” feature added to the Notepad application allows users to edit their texts more easily. This feature provides great convenience for users with creative writing projects or professional text editing needs.

The “Rewrite” feature offers the option to rewrite, change the tone, or adjust the length of a text. After highlighting a text, users can benefit from this feature by clicking the “Rewrite” button. The system offers three different rewriting options for the highlighted text, allowing users to choose the most suitable one. This innovation has been made available to all users after being tested through the Windows Insider Program. However, the use of this feature is limited.

Microsoft 365 subscribers can use the Rewrite feature by spending their 60 AI Credits allocated to their accounts at the beginning of each month. 1 AI Credit is deducted from your credit balance for each rewrite. Copilot Pro subscribers, on the other hand, have the right to unlimited use of AI features.
