Israel’s newly appointed Chief of the General Staff, Eyal Zamir, officially decided to remove Israel’s Army Spokesperson Daniel Hagari from duty. It has been reported that Hagari will retire. According to Israel’s state television channel Kan, the Chief of the General Staff, Eyal Zamir, reached an agreement with Army Spokesperson Daniel Hagari regarding his retirement. The news mentioned that Israel’s Defense Minister Yisrael Katz faced issues with Hagari, leading to Zamir’s decision to remove Hagari from duty. The report stated that after a meeting between the two, Zamir will dismiss Hagari next week and he will retire. It was reported that Benny Aharon is one of the candidates to replace Hagari.
