Ukrainian President Zelenski stated that he is prepared to resign in exchange for NATO membership, but mentioned that Ukraine does not have the amount of debt that President Trump claims.

President Volodimir Zelenski of Ukraine refuted claims that the 500 billion dollar aid provided by the US should be considered as debt instead of a grant, stating that the US had provided 100 billion dollars in aid to Ukraine over the course of three years.

Zelenski expressed his readiness to step down from his position when necessary, stating, “If the conditions arise, I am ready to resign from the Presidency in exchange for NATO membership.”
