The US and Ukrainian Foreign Ministries met in Jeddah, the capital of Saudi Arabia, yesterday. Ukraine announced its readiness to immediately implement a 30-day temporary ceasefire at the meeting. The ceasefire, subject to mutual agreement by the parties, could be extended and is contingent on Russia’s simultaneous implementation. Additionally, the US stated that it would promptly lift restrictions on intelligence sharing with Kiev and resume security assistance to Ukraine.
