Ukrainian leader Zelensky announced that an F-16 fighter jet pilot died during a mission. Highlighting that the country’s warplanes are on duty for Ukraine’s security, Zelensky said, “The Air Force is also tasked with protecting Ukraine from Russian missiles and drones. We are proud of our fighters.” Zelensky mentioned that he received necessary information from military officials and stated, “We will respond with strength and precision.” The Ukrainian leader did not share any information regarding how the pilot died or who was responsible for the death.
