US President Donald Trump announced late last night that they have cut off military aid to Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also made a new statement.

Despite Trump’s tough stance, Zelensky strives to maintain his composure, stating, “We are working together with our American and European partners, and we are very hopeful for the US support on the road to peace. Peace should be achieved as soon as possible.”

“We are continuing our collaboration with partners. We have already held meetings and there will be further steps taken soon,” Zelensky mentioned, adding, “It is crucial for us to advance our diplomacy with tangible actions to end this war as soon as possible. We truly need a genuine peace, and the Ukrainians desire it the most.”

Zelensky highlighted that the war has devastated cities and towns, stating: “We are losing our people. We must stop the war and ensure security.”
